När distansen väckt ögonen för de hemligt intensiva färgerna. Verken som presenteras i utställningen är skapade med hjälp av en fri tryckteknik, en typ av monotryck, där kopplingen mellan idé och utförande är väldigt nära. Resultatet av trycket, spåren och färgen som lämnas, kontrolleras inte i detalj. 2020-2021Vad händer i mötet mellan väv och måleri? När en väv visar sig vara en kanvas, och ett måleri rivs ner till trasor? Samarbetet, “amandine josephine”, påbörjades hösten 2020 när vi under vår masterutbildning på Konstfack hittade ett gemensamt intresse i relationen mellan måleri, färg, textil och materialitet. Ett pågående utbyte där vi ger varandra gåvor, som sedan med omsorg och brutalitet förstörs och omvandlas till nya gemensamma verk. Vi utforskar den starka attraktionskraften mellan textil och måleri, kopplingar och söndringar dem emellan. En önskan att utnyttja varandras egenskaper, att hamna i situationer som kräver en medskapare för att uppstå. En frigörelse från att vara ett geni?
